Collimator sights have long been known for their convenience, wide view range. They can be used even in poor lighting conditions. Such scopes are used on nearly any kind of combat weapons – starting from a pistol to an assault rifle. Open scopes are light and compact.
The 1×33 collimator sight has been added to the LASERWAR scopes range.
There are four varieties of reticles in the 1×33 scope. A mechanism at the back of the device is used for switching between the varieties. Besides, the color of the reticle and the brightness level can be changed: the shooter can select between green or red and between 5 brightness levels for either color. A flywheel with a 3V battery are used for this. Aiming is easy, even if a rival is running or trying to hide.
There are two adjustment screws at the top-hand and left-hand side of the device. The screws produce nice clicks as they are rotated. Each click is 1 arc minute. With each click, the screw is rotated by 25 mm for a distance of 91 meters. The scope gives a wide field of view and does not obstruct the shooter’s view. This will be appreciated by those who love to have the whole playground area under control.
The Weaver rail has been built into the aluminium scope frame. The rail is tightened by two screws, thus securely attaching the scope. The 1×33 has a fully multi-coated lens with an anti-glow coating. The scope will not reveal the shooter’s location and only the shooter will see the target dot.
Keys, a battery charger and a cleaning cloth are included in the set. There is a protective cap for storing the lens away.
