DP DEGTYAREV STAHL EDITION

If MMG came into integration with LASERWAR specialists, then this model really deserves attention. This time we were interested in the infantry machine gun developed by V. A. Degtyarev (DP). We will tell you more about this. During the Second World War, the Degtyarev machine gun took the 3rd place in terms of mass, losing only to the PPSh-41 and the Mosin rifle. This is explained not only by its mass character, but also by excellent tactical and technical characteristics.

Now the legendary emasculated combat model has received a rebirth and is ready to please players in massive laser tag battles.

Overall impression

The player who chose this game kit needs good physical preparation and endurance, since the mass of the DP Degtyarev is more than 10 kg. But the main task of the machine gunner is the fire support of the advancing assault group. Therefore, using the settings in the configurator, you should set a high rate of fire, range and a large number of shots in the magazine. All this will help to cope with the combat mission. In general, the model is convenient to use, it is convenient to aim from bipods, and the machine gun barrel provides a high optimal firing range of more than 250 m. We are sure that DP Degtyarev will please laser tag fighters with its authenticity and combat effectiveness.

Housing and electronics

The MMG case is made of stainless steel, with the exception of a wooden piston. Inside there is a 2.2 Ah lithium battery. The machine gun, depending on the generation (from 8 to 30 hours), withstands aces of continuous play. The charging socket is located under the receiver (in the area of the charging attachment). To charge the kit, any charger of the Li + series, for example, Spider, is suitable.

The inclusion is made on the pin of the butt plate on the right side of the barrel. Charging – for closure. The speaker is located in a familiar place – a flat record store of a tager, which provides a richer and louder sound.

Attractions and bipeds

The machine gun is equipped with a sector sight with a high block, which is mounted on the receiver. Convenient adjustment of the sight is possible thanks to the aiming rod, which has notches up to 1500 meters (step – 100 m). The visor is located in protective “ears”. It is inserted into the groove on the protrusion of the barrel housing. The protective “ears” for the visor also serve as a magazine lock.

The bipods are attached to the barrel body with a metal clamp and are easy to fold. To do this, take them to the trunk and connect with each other. They are easy to remove for ease of transportation by unscrewing only one thumbscrew.

Piston and trigger mechanism

The wooden butt is made like a Madsen machine gun. It has a semi-pistol protrusion of the neck and an upper comb, which improves the positioning of the head of the machine gunner. The length of the butt from the trigger to the back of the head is 36 cm, the width of the butt is 4 cm. It should be noted that in the piston we left the original oiler with a brush, which should lubricate all the mechanisms of movement of the weapon. On the barrel cover and on the left side of the piston there is a sling attachment for the belt.

This game kit has the functions of a trigger. To fire, when you press the trigger, you also need to clamp a small “tongue” (automatic fuse), which is located just behind the safety bracket.
